Il progetto mira a ridurre il divario di genere nell’educazione finanziaria, con un’attenzione specifica alle donne che affrontano svantaggi o sfide specifiche. Attraverso programmi di educazione finanziaria e di sostegno, mira a fornire loro le competenze necessarie per gestire autonomamente le proprie risorse finanziarie. Inoltre, riconosce l’importanza di affrontare la questione più ampia della violenza domestica, spesso radicata nella mancanza di controllo finanziario all’interno delle dinamiche familiari. Pertanto, il progetto cerca di contribuire non solo a una maggiore alfabetizzazione finanziaria, ma anche a un ambiente più sicuro ed equo all’interno delle famiglie.
- Mira a ridurre il divario di genere nell’educazione finanziaria, concentrandosi sulle donne svantaggiate.
- Affronta le questioni del controllo finanziario all’interno delle dinamiche familiari e della violenza domestica.
- Cerca di migliorare l’alfabetizzazione finanziaria e di creare un ambiente familiare più sicuro ed equo.
Il target
- Donne che, indipendentemente dall’età, svolgono professioni o occupazioni in settori economici caratterizzati da un pronunciato divario occupazionale tra i sessi e sono prive di un impiego regolarmente retribuito da almeno sei mesi.
- Donne che soffrono di dipendenze (droga, alcol, gioco d’azzardo, ecc.).
- Donne non incluse (ad esempio, donne immigrate non ancora integrate nella comunità, madri single).
- Donne con un basso profilo educativo che non lavorano o lavorano in contesti lavorativi precari.
Il gruppo target riflette perfettamente gli obiettivi di inclusione e riqualificazione del progetto, che presenta situazioni personali complesse come, ad esempio, vedove o giovani donne che desiderano intraprendere un percorso indipendente dalla famiglia.
Si prevede che circa 40 donne svantaggiate di ogni Paese saranno coinvolte nella risposta ai questionari e un minimo di 50 donne nella formazione virtuale offerta dal corso di educazione finanziaria di base.
Obiettivi
Gli obiettivi concreti del progetto, che mira non solo a educare ma anche a valutare e affrontare i bisogni specifici delle donne svantaggiate.

Colmare il divario di genere nell’educazione finanziaria delle donne svantaggiate.
Specifico:
- Valutare lo stato attuale del divario di genere nell’educazione finanziaria in Europa.
- Comprendere le esigenze di educazione finanziaria delle donne svantaggiate.
- Sensibilizzare e fornire competenze essenziali per l’indipendenza finanziaria.
- Formare gli educatori alla simulazione virtuale per l’educazione finanziaria delle donne svantaggiate.

🎓 At the University of Siena, the final conference of the GBFE project, coordinated and organised by OpenCom!
On 30 September, the University of Siena – Arezzo Campus hosted the final conference of the European project GBFE, Gender Balance in Financial Education, funded by the Erasmus+ programme and promoted by Fondazione Arezzo Innovazione.
👉 The event, coordinated and organised by OpenCom, took place as part of a lecture by Professor Claudio Melacarne, who teaches General Pedagogy at the Department of Education, Human Sciences and Intercultural Communication (DIPOSC).
The session turned the university classroom into a lively forum for dialogue between researchers, educators, institutions, the banking sector and local associations, with over 150 students attending on-site and online.
The discussion, moderated by Andrea Repek (Inedita), featured contributions from Marco Morbidelli (Fondazione Arezzo Innovazione), Erina Guraziu (OpenCom), Ursula Armstrong (Pronto Donna), Mirco Romoli (Banca Tema) and Gabriella Salvietti, a former Lebole worker, who shared reflections and experiences on how financial education can become a true driver of inclusion and gender equality. 🌍💪
